At the launch of our Big Conversation we offered to share our findings, including the opportunity to use the ComB model, in order to review, reflect on and develop our work to support young people in Wrexham.
We're now pleased to be offering a training day to understand the COM-B framework, focusing on behaviour change techniques and how to apply them.
This will be a collaborative event, where individuals or groups from different orgaisations can all work together, bringing their own specific areas of work and projects, sharing them across the group and collectively working on how they can be improved.
It's an opportunity to build on new collaborative ideas and create a space to learn, share and inspire our work for young people across Wrexham.
We are delighted to welcome back Hitch to help deliver the session. Hitch is a behaviour change and communications agency with a social conscience. Since 2011, Hitch has been busy working with hundreds of organisations across the public, third, and commercial sectors to bring about positive behaviour change through tailored campaigns and interventions.
The course content will focus on:
Defining behaviour:
· What is COM-B
· Intervention types
· Behaviour change techniques
· A brief introduction to the Behaviour Change Wheel
The day will also include activities for attendees, plus supporting material for attendees to take away.
